Busy October for Nancy coming up

The season is starting with a bang. First there is Seniors' Week. The entry in the COTA advertising magazine has the following entry.

Living Boat Trust 
Enjoy a cruise on the Huon River in the classic river 
launch Nancy. View the reflections, spot the birds 
and hear about the local history. Includes afternoon 
tea at the Living Boat Trust shed. You can also spend 
quality time at Franklin’s waterfront, enjoying a guided 
tour of the Wooden Boat Centre workshop, which is 
open 9:30am–4:30pm Monday–Friday and 10:30am – 
4:00pm on Saturdays. 
Cruise times: 
    • Monday 10 October 1:30pm–3:30pm; 
    • Tuesday 11 October 1:30pm–3:30pm; 
    • Wednesday 12 October 1:30pm–3:30pm; 
    • Thursday 13 October 1:30pm–3:30pm; 
    • Friday 14 October 1:30pm–3:30pm; 
    • Saturday 15 October 1:30pm–3:30pm; 
    • Sunday 16 October 1:30pm–3:30pm. 
Wooden Boat Centre, 3333 Huon Highway, Franklin. 
Bookings: 6266 3586 (close: 16/10). Cost: $30 ($25 for just the cruise).  

And on October 23rd CCAMLR - the Commission for Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources - which is based in Hobart, is having an event at the LBT, with short Nancy excursions as the main attraction.  We've been hoping to attract organisations and events like this: lets hope it goes well.
