Description (to go to AWBF)Built by French immigrant carpenter Jean Pierre Malagny in 1986 as a day sailor for Darwin Harbour. Her low draught, flat bottom and good sailing characteristics made her perfect for this role. Restored by the current owner Pieter Lunstedt, the finishing work being done at the Living Boat Trust Franklin. The Trust have used Capricornia extentively for 'On the Water' programs, and for long distance expeditions.
