From Graham Rankin: Time to take a deep breath and apply the first coat to the
inside of the hull. After a quick sand and a wipe down with a damp cloth
we charged our brushes and went for it. By one o'clock
we had finished, the first coat looks a little streaky, but as each
subsequent coat is applied, she will look better and better. Whilst Mick, Willis and I were busy with the paint, Gerry and and Dennis were getting stuck into leathering the first of the oars. It was the last day for another of our stalwarts, Dennis is also leaving us for warmer climes in the northern hemisphere. We wish him safe travels and a fantastic adventures on his European odyssey. Thank you for all hard hard work, we promise not to sink her while your away. |
