From Graham Rankin:

'A quiet day today, more sanding, it's amazing how many times you can go over a boat and find a patch you have missed! Mick applied the first coat of oil to the stretchers, and doesn't the celery top glow! At Willis' insistence we have cut celery strips for the cox's footrest, and yes, I have to admit it does look a treat. What is a couple of extra grams, anyway? A bit more finessing of the rowlock pins and we'll be about ready to start the painting. A launch in early May?'
