From Graham Rankin: "Slow and steady today! Lots of fiddling and fairing, a lot of the laminations added on Wednesday
were carefully shaved away to achieve a nice snug fit between the inner
and outer stems. The newly laminated keel was faired and fits neatly to
the hog. Next Friday we will start tapering the the stems and keel in readiness for fixing in place. Not far now till the Big Turnover! Thanks to everyone for staying on and helping to put up the marquee for tomorrow."     |
